In some movies the star isn't always a person. Sometimes it's and animal, or maybe it's an auto mobile. These vehicles end up being icons for that show and time period. Toys are usually made and us kids and collectors load up our shelves full of them. Maybe something sparks an old memory of a TV show or movie. You can quite pin point the name of the program, but then you remember the vehicle they drove. Then there you have it, someone else will be on your journey of the past to remember that classic auto.
Then we had a couple special guests. Dan Watters and Caspar Wijngaard. They are the creators of the comic series "Limbo". Somehow we never noticed this
series, and shame on us. It only took the first issue to be hooked. I see I have your attention. Here is the synopsis:
A detective with no memory, no identity and no manners. A femme fatale seeking escape from a powerful crime lord. A voodoo queen with a penchant for mixtapes and hi-tops. A goat-eating TV… Welcome to Dedande City, where good people check under their beds at night and reality is never quite what it seems. A NEW surreal neon-noir series crossing 50s pulp with an 80s VHS visual aesthetic drawing from the likes of Carpenter, Cronenberg, and Lynch.
Just look at the artwork and colors. Now times time to take action and get into the story.
