Ep. 267: Bobcats with Short Short Movies?

We are joined by comic creator James Hostler this week to first help us recall some of the best series inspired by movies in this week’s Retro Roundtable.

We look at shows like Fargo, Planet of the Apes, and Buffy to not only remember the shows, but compare them to the movies that birthed them. Let us know on Twitter or Facebook if we missed anything.

Then we turn our attention to James to discuss his comic, The Bobcat. Tahlequah - Indian Territory 1898. Will Firemaker is a Cherokee blacksmith living in the Indian Territory. His relationship with The Great Cat pulls him into a world of ancient lore and legend that Will had always thought of as tribal fairy-tales. However villains born out of the fires of The Industrial Age bring fear and danger to this land that still resides in the Old West. But Unaduti the Medicine Man will lead Will to the Little People who reveal to him his legacy, and his destiny. Forces of the Modern Era collide with Primeval Beings from the earliest days of man in this tale of struggle, warfare, and unity.Check it out at TheBobcat.net.
