Ep. 117: Wizard World Cleveland 2016

March 3, 2016

Greetings all! In this weeks episode, we cover the Wizard World Cleveland Comic Con. The event was a huge success and having attended, it's easy to see why. Our coverage begins as we were invited to the Wizard World Press Reception event held at the Hard Rock Cafe where we were able to get a few quick interviews with Jason Mewes (Jay and Silent Bob) and Jason David Frank (Green/White Ranger).

After our meet the meet n greet there was a small Q & A with the other guests that attened.  Among those guests were, Larry Wilcox (Chips) and Cas Anvar (The Expanse, Assasins Creed, Room).

And now for the main event. Once we got to the convention we let everyone know we had made it.

The cosplayers were plentiful and gorgeous!

Here are some of our favorite cosplayers of the day. First, Darth Jar Jar hanging out with Rick Sanchez. I've seen a few "Ricks" out there before, but I'd have to say this guys was the best. But Darth Jar Jar? This one counts as a first.

Here are some of the other incredible cosplayers. We had to examine Mysterio's helmet because it didn't look like anybody would be able to see through it.

It was a nice suprise to see Static Shock and even greater one to run into Shredder!

Jeramy got the chance to talk with George Wassil of  "Oh, Hell", a comic about parents so fed up with their children that they send them off to boarding school. What they don't realize is that it's in Hell! What started as a web comic will now be on shelves come this March.

Then we got to catch up with Ted Sikora of the Cleveland based superhero "Apama: The Undiscovered Animal". Both he and co-creator Milo Miller had alot of attention at their booth, and it's no suprise. Apama comes from the independant movie "Hero Tomorrow", also created by Ted and Milo.

We also hit up a few panels. First was from the Game Fix Podcast. They are also part of the Wizard World Con Radio community.  They showed us a bunch of hilarious and mind-bending glitches in some of todays most succesful games.

And last but not least we sat in on the "Women of Sheild" panel.  "Agents of Sheild" stars Chloe Bennet and Elizabeth Henstridge answered questions from many fans and gave all of us a bunch of laughs.
